Life Flow
Life is not to be lived for some distant there—or top. All around us, each new and normal day is pregnant with a new aspect of life begging to be realized.
Life is a flow. These hills and valleys are the natural flow of life.
Quit striving so much. Know that you don’t have to make it all happen! There is a rhythm, a niche, a groove that allows you to experience your flow of life.
C.S. Lewis said, “The first job each morning consists in shoving (all other voices) all back; in listening to that other voice, taking that other point of view, letting that other, larger, stronger, quieter life come flowing in.”
In a mess? God wants to flow life right in the middle of it. Feel lost? God is where you are.
Let life settle inside you—then flow from you—just as normal as breathing.
Take a break and laugh! To journey with the life flow is the greatest destination.
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” ~Jesus
